Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)
We use a stress-free sedation system called Accutron to help you relax and have a positive dental visit. A mask will be placed over your nose to inhale a safe and effective sedative agent called nitrous oxide or “laughing gas” to relax you during your procedure.
Why It Matters for You
This enables us to create a peaceful atmosphere for all ages. Nitrous oxide is very different from deeper levels of sedation because it helps relax nerves while you stay awake and able to communicate with us. Above all, the effects of the mask fade out within a few moments of removing it, so you can drive home or resume your regular work and activities right after the appointment.
